 Remembering Bill Evans:

This multimedia presentation about Bill Evans life and work is complemented by slides and narration to put his music into the context of his life. Miss Gallinger narrates and sings backed by her trio. The show features instrumental and vocal selections, including a brief breakdown of one songs showing the stylistic impact of the "First Trio" on group playing.

Designed for effective staging in most venues, "Remembering Bill Evans" is a "live documentary" which seamlessly blends musical performance with visual and narrative media, creating a poignant and memorable context for understanding the life and musical legacy of Bill Evans. As an educational complement to this presentation, an optional interactive "Remembering" workshop is available to academic venues that seek to bring the Bill Evans story to life for jazz students of all ages.
